The lit up cupboards with glass and louver doors give an interesting variation to the solid doors. The crown mouldings on top give a fine finish to the cupboards. The extractor which absorbs the smell of the food from the stove is fitted beneath the cupboard in the corner

This chest is an imitation of an old-fashioned “wakis” (wagon-box). The chest is made of old yellow wood roof trusses and the corners of the box are strengthened with embuia wedges
